Lavatories & Drinking Fountains Specifications

• Is there an accessible pipe chase?
  • If yes, select a rear mounted fixture that is secured to the wall with anchor bolts through the wall.
  • If no accessible pipe chase is available, a front mounted fixture should be selected which can accommodate valving inside the fixture body.
• Choose the drain outlet for the lavatory basin.
• Choose the waste piping configuration for the lavatory.

• For integral stainless steel waste configurations, specify plain end or FIPT outlet connection.
• Choose the faucet or valve to be used.
• Choose the lavatory spout to be used if a separate spout is appropriate for the valve chosen.
• If the fixture is rear mounted (with anchor rods) and is being installed on a poured concrete or masonry wall, is a security frame (wall sleeve) desired?
