This revolutionary new bowl toilet design was the direct result of many requests from our customers.
The older 1.6 gpf toilets use a 2 3/8" waste tube in the design. It has been documented these toilets need several flushes to evacuate waste. In addition many facilities are experiencing many nagging clogs from normal use. It seems the restrictive 2 3/8" waste tube is not large enough to evacuate normal waste under normal use. The goal for Metcraft was to design a 1.6 gpf toilet using a 3" waste tube which is normally used on the older 3.5 gpf toilets. The problem that had to be resolved was the hydraulics of this new unit. The larger waste design required that more water be used to reseal the trap and less water be used to flush and evacuate the waste.
After several years of experimentation, Flex Flush (TM) was invented. This new design gives you all of the water savings of older 1.6 gpf toilets while eliminating the nagging stoppages/clogging as a result of using the larger 3 inch waste tubes.
All of the other competitors still use the old 1.6 gpf design using the more restrictive 2 3/8" waste tube. This technology is 15 years old and costs your customers thousand of dollars over the life of the facility.
To ensuring your customer is receiving the most advanced product the industry can provide, specify Flex Flush (TM) on your next project. This will ensure your customers many years of cost savings resulting from this new revolutionary design.
